In Early 2012 we at Mainland Roofing recieved a wonderfully hand written request from Emma, the Student Councilor at Windsor School in one of the Eastern subburbs of Christchurch.

The request was for roofing iron that would become 'murals' for the fence surrounding the school's playing feild. It sounded as if one or two pannels were requires either 1.8m or 1.2m in size.

Following discussions with, Glennys, the teacher behind the project it was clear that many more than a coupe of sheets were required. After more discussions with Glennys, Kevin at Mainland Roofing was able to provide 21 sheets of new roofing iron each 1.8m long and 5 sheets at 1.2m long. This will allow the children of each of the 26 classes to design and paint their mural. The concept being that murals will be painted each year or two by every class at Windsor School.
